Hotel concierges were very accommodating with a change to my itinerary due to the weather conditions.

We loved our stay. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the reviews about self check in and unhoused people hanging out front.
First, there is always a person at the front desk. They check your ID and help you check in. There is a human connection. And the staff was SOOO friendly.
Secondly, the front is a dedicated public space. It is a common practice that allows developer to build higher. We had no issues with people hanging out there. Not a single one.
We absolutely loved hanging out in the "Living Room". Such a beautiful and welcoming space. And the bar upstairs was spectacular!
The bathroom/shower is the typical frosted glass. So I went down to the lobby to use the bathroom most days. I like privacy in that area of my life. ??
We did wish that there were outlets on both sides of the bed. That was about it for suggestions. I hope you enjoy your stay!

The hotel was excellent in several ways: great location, beautiful and funky decor, everything was very clean in the hotel and my room, which had a comfortable bed and was very cozy. The lounge /bar areas on the downstairs and top floors were amazing and the view was spectacular! Most of all, the staff were very kind and helpful, going out of their way a couple of times to help me. I would like to stay there again!

Ottimo anche per lavorare, ambienti open e informale, ben organizzato con tavoli per co working, sedute, tavolinetti intorno ad un bel bancone bar.
Le camere sono piccole ma ben organizzate sembrano delle capsule .

Room was very clean, staff was super helpful. Missing one star because the in room bathroom wasn’t great. The door didn’t fully close, no shelving/hooks, very few amenities. Additionally, the ‘light cleans’ provided by the hotel were just making the bed. I would have appreciated trash being picked up, etc.
Great neighborhood though!

Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Staff was always helpful, rooms were maintained clean everyday, environment and ambience were great.

As many reviews mention, the rooms here are extremely small—even for NYC. Ours felt like a cruise ship cabin, with the bed wedged sideways against the window. Getting in and out was awkward, and late-night bathroom trips definitely woke my partner.
Small rooms can work if designed well, but this one wasn’t. Storage was severely lacking: not enough space for two carry-ons and backpacks, too few hangers, only one drawer, and no shelves in the “bathroom” or shower. My partner even used the safe as extra storage.
The biggest issue was the bathroom itself—a frosted plexiglass pod with no fan and zero real privacy. We travel often and don’t mind sharing space, but this setup was… unique. I was grateful for my white-noise machine.
There was also no in-room iron or steamer. The front desk sent me to “Iron Heaven” on the fourth floor—a tiny closet with one ironing board. Pretty inconvenient for a hotel at this price.
No coffee maker, no water, and not even cups in the room. The café downstairs sells basic drip coffee for $8, which really should’ve been complimentary in-room.
The room is controlled entirely by an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which sounds cool but was laggy and glitchy. More than once, pressing one button triggered something completely different.
Location-wise, it’s not unsafe, but it’s also not a premium spot that justifies the rates.
Overall, with the design flaws and inconveniences, this stay was a 3-star experience at best.
